- Seville 3 nights
Two days for the cathedral, the Alcázar and the Santa Cruz quarter. Evenings suit a flamenco show in Triana.
- Córdoba 1 night
The Mezquita is calmest first thing in the morning. One night is enough to see the old Jewish quarter in the evening light.
- Granada 2 nights
Alhambra tickets can sell out weeks ahead, so plan the dates around them. Sunset from the Albaicín deserves its own evening.
- Málaga 2 nights
A quieter finish with the Picasso Museum and the Alcazaba. A lazy day by the sea also helps.
Getting between cities
- Seville → Córdoba: Train, about 0.75 h, 140 km
A short hop on the high speed line, with frequent departures.
- Córdoba → Granada: Train, about 1.5 h, 200 km
High speed trains run via Antequera. Buses are slower but still an option.
- Granada → Málaga: Bus, about 2 h, 125 km
The direct bus is the simplest way. Going by train usually means a change.

When to go
March to May is the best time, with October and November close behind. Inland cities get very hot in July and August.
